First and foremost, we are absolutely filled to the brim with excitement to welcome a brand new and very highly praised Music Director, Mr. Adam Martinez! We hope you’ll join us in helping him feel right at home in this very special Band Family. We can’t wait to share all the wonderful plans, so lovingly organized, he has for our students - Believe me, these kids are in great hands this year!
But wait, there’s more! We’ve also been hard at work finding new and wonderful ways to help you Support your Student and Stay Connected, because this stuff is ALL ABOUT THEM!
Stay Connected
If you haven’t already done so, be sure to join the BANDapp to stay updated on all things RMB. This app will show you (and remind you of) EVERYTHING planned for the year: rehearsals, concerts, events, fundraisers, and pick-up & drop-off locations just to name a few. You can also ask questions, communicate with other families, as well as share photos and videos from the season. This app is spectacular, so please make sure this is the first thing you do!
Our Website! Yes, we FINALLY have a website! Thanks to the talent in this phenomenal family, we now have a central hub for our families & community to learn more about this program we call home. Visitors may connect with our social media to see what events are happening, donate (and encourage others to donate), get all of that RMB-branded gear to support your student, connect with our Artistic Directors and Board, and so much, much more! Do yourself a huge favor, and explore everything this site has available to you. As our program evolves, this site will too, right along with the needs of our Band Family.
Support Your Student
Most programs of this nature require a significant financial investment from its students - We do not! We strive to provide an entirely free program to our talented students, but such an endeavor requires a little help. We have thoughtfully arranged fundraisers to be as easy as possible this year, and a large amount of them are centered around things you may already do! …Eat out, get coffee, shop, wash your car, recycle- Easy! Behind the scenes, our Boosters are already raising funds for your students through Corporate Donation & Sponsorship. …And sprinkled throughout the year, our students will have their own fundraising campaigns that will help us in providing musical instruments, uniforms, transportation, music, equipment, and competitive event admission.
Be Present
Finally, the warmest of welcomes to all of you from our brand new Board of Directors! Don’t believe for a second that being a new parent to the program means you can’t make a difference - You Can! This entire group found their love for supporting what their music students love at the very beginning of 6th grade. We all learned together, and we encourage all families, new and returning, to find this joy in volunteering as well. You’ll have the best seat in the house!
Cheers to a new year, and thank you all for being a part of what makes this so worthwhile for our kids and their families. These are memories and relationships they’ll carry with them forever - we appreciate you all!
